Public transport from Alicante airport is very cheap.After paying 90 euros for one way to La Nucia (9 miles north of Benidorm) we now use the bus or train for just a few euros

A friend of mine took a taxi from Alicante to Javea, which is north of Alicante rather than south and a little bit further away but it cost him around £60.00 three years ago.
