not sure which is cheapest to buy cigs, but i would not use ur debit card abroad. your bank will charge you quite a lot for doing this, plus you will get a crap exchange rate. you will be best off taking euros or euro travellers cheques. |

You can use your debit card in Spain, but you will have to carry your passport as i.d. Although it will be cheaper to pay with cash as you will be paying an exchange rate to your bank. I would buy them in the local tobacconist not at the airport. |

You will pay a pretty standard price for cigarettes from a Tabacos shop, state controlled so prices are fixed, bast to use cash though as you'll lose out on charges for conversions when the transaction goes through your bank acocunt |

Yes you can you your debit card.
I would should suggest you buy your ciggies from a tobacconist in town (Barcelona, Salou or whereever you're staying) rather than at the airport...you'll probably find a stick is couple of euros cheaper. |

you should be able to use your debit card depending on what kind it is....mastercard and visa are most widely accepted around the world. frankly, i like to use my debit card because i always get nervous carrying around too much cash. however, i suggest getting some travelers checks just to be safe in case you lose your card or it doesnt work, etc.
however, you might want to ask your bank about what kind of fees they charge and what they use as their exchange rate before you go a...that way you wont come back and be surprised that youve spent alot more than you thought.
also, i would buy whatever you can outside of the airport. airports tend to jack up their prices. |

Using any card in the ATM in spain I would advise you to use in banking hours. Then if the card doesn't work or the machine keeps it you can go in the bank and get it back. Or maybe be able to draw money over the counter. (This has happened to me). As for cigs etc buy them in a local 'tobac'. Much cheaper than elsewhere. (Also sell stamps there just out of interest). |

no..use cash.. there is a great shop on the main strip in salou cant think of its name but you cant miss it it has steps up into it and sells post cards and stamps also, there is another shop down near the end of the strip as you get near the beach that sells only fags... all fags are really cheap just unwrap each 200 pack and put them into your cases loose...but use cash the charges are mad for cards..by the time you pay them you may as well buy your fags at home.and not sure if you can buy fags at reus wen i was there i never saw any shops etc.
