Do you want a sun holiday or an activity adventure holiday? What about trying one of the north african countries? Morocco or Tunisia. The canary islands has a great climate for a winter getaway too, but fuerteventura is very windy. Madeira, is the place to go if you want the sun and activity. There are no beaches but it is ideal for lots of hill walking and activities like that. Otherwise try a european city or malta, sardinia, corsica if you're still after a beach holiday. have a good time.

Difficult to answer but i'm going suggest Odessa in Ukraine. It's historical, has gorgeous beaches, lovely people, boiling hot in the summer, flight is only a few hours (about 3 and a half I think) and you don't need a visa to go there at the moment. Either that or Latvia. There's a beach resort about half hour from the capital called Jurmala. That's really pretty too and you've got Riga, the capital really close if you fancy some city life.

try somewhere in southeast Asia. it's cheaper there, your Â£1, you can buy lots of things already, places like Philippines. I don't know if you heard of this place, but I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy the hidden beauty of the country. It's safe for tourist, loads of English and other European as well.
