Can you get a ferry ticket from spain to morocc?

Mr C
Yes you can. There's one that goes from Tarifa to Tangiers and it takes about 40 mins or so.

You'll need your passport obviously. Make sure you turn up early as when I went a few weeks ago, the ferry left half an hour earlier than published.

Top tip: Take a pen! As you'll need to fill out some forms on route.

There's no cashpoint at the ferry terminal, so make sure you've got all your Euro's beforehand. All the people will accept Euros in Tangier even though it's not the official currency.

There's also a guided tour of Tangier available from the ferry terminal in Tarifa which is very good - but be prepared for meeting lots of street sellers and getting the "hard sell" in the afternoon.

Yes you can. One ferry company is Ferrimaroc.

Your FERRY between Spain and Morocco:

FERRIMAROC operates a First Class ferry service, uniting Spain with the north eastern region of Morocco, on an all year round basis. During the summer season, and the corresponding peak traffic volumes, they can offer up to 20 sailings weekly in each direction, between ALMERIA and NADOR.

I would think so, it's opposite!

shirley p
The answer is yes. Ferries run daily from southern Spain costa.

Jzzy
Yes and it is very easy.

Simply go to Algeciras, and opposite the bus station you have the harbour.

Throughout the day there is a ferry approximately every hour and you do not need to make a reservation, just buy your ticket at the harbour.

It takes 1 to 2 hours to get to Tangier, depending on which ferry you take.

There are also the fast ferries leaving from Tarifa but Tarifa is more difficult to get to with public transport.

The trip from Algeciras is also the most beautiful.

Yes. They run frequently and are widely available to buy.

You can also get a ferry from Algeciras to Ceuta a part of Spain. You then catch a local bus to the boarder. And walk across. There are taxi's on the Morocco side, but I walked it to nearest town. There not many tourist use this route.

GEOFF W
i know you can from gibraltar
