I would recommend the restaurant named 'Madrid barcelona'. It is a Catalan restuarant and the food is ecellent but very reasonably priced. It is on Calle Aragon in the centre of Barcelona.
Everytime we have friends and family visit we always take them there and no one has ever been disapointed yet!

The best seafood restaurant is called "El Mar del Ribera" It is in the Borne area. Super good and definately good value for the money. Also this is a good quick meal, if you like falafel. The restaurant is called Maoz, there are several off ramblas. I would say stay away from any restaurants on Las Ramblas, overpriced.

We found Pollo Rico off the beaten track a bit right off Las Ramblas, the chicken dinner was to die for and only about 4 Euros.
