You definitely can, but you have to come back before it expires or get a new one in your country's embassy in Spain. |

you have to have six months left on your passport now, so id get a new one quick....
Some overseas countries have an immigration requirement for a passport to remain valid for a minimum period after entry to that country. The holding of a British passport does not exempt the holder from complying with these requirements. If your passport is in its final year of validity, you are advised to check the requirements of the country of destination before you make your final travel plans. Any questions should be addressed to their consulate or embassy. Your travel agent willl also be able to give you advice on this matter |

unfortunately not. your passport must be valid for six months from the day you return to the uk. otherwise, they won't accept it. x |

Some countries have an immigration requirement for a passport to remain valid for a minimum period (usually at least six months) beyond the date of entry to the country. Therefore, ensure your passport is in good condition and valid for at least 6 months at the date of your return. This is a requirement of the country concerned, not the UK Passport Service. Any questions should be addressed to their Consulate or Embassy.
May be an idea to check because if they require 6 months validity, you could be refused entry. |

You would need to contact a Spanish consulate to determine if Spain is on the six month law or find their website |

I would ask your travel agent.
Or (to be certain) you could ring the Spanish Embassy in your country or your own immigration department. |

In my experience, you will be questioned about that since there's less than 6 months vaildity. However, as long as you can show proof of onward voyage (return ticket) that show's you'll leave before it expires, you should be okay.
But if I were you I'd renew it just to avoid any unforeseen headaches and immigration officers who like to give hardtimes. |
