Its been years since I was in the Canaries. A friend and I are thinking about a short-haul trip to either Canaries or Balearics. We have no idea what to look for but we do like our comfort- budget is not a concern.
Definitley Canaries if you're looking for luxury.
There are some beautiful hotels in the Canaries.
I'd recommend Gran Canaria to you and the resort of Meloneras- check the hotel here- Lopespan Gran Meloneras
Both are great but i myself prefere the canaries. The hottest is Pueto Rico
