Car hire company in spain?
That does NOT need a credit card. Going to Murcia Spain for 10 days. Only have a visa debit card. Additional Details Its not paying thats a problem When you collect the car they ask for a credit card which they swipe in case you damage the car. Debit cards are not accepted.

Unfortunately none of the major international car hire companies or the major national companies will let you drive away a car without a credit card in Spain.
You need to be careful as most of the brokers in the UK will let you book and pay for a car but you will still need a credit card when you get to the counter.
The Car rentals companies are simply using the credit card as a form of identification & credit check to reduce the risk of you absconding with the vehicle.
Your best chance will be try one of the small local companies once you arrive in Spain. They might be willing to rent but will probably need a substantial cash/travellers cheque deposit so make sure you have the funds with you.

Centauro are fantastic. Just book on line, no credit card needed, and pay when you pick the car up. No problem if you cancel or change the booking, and prices are very competitive. I really recommend them, I use them about 5 times a year and have never had a reason to complain.
