With these holidays you could be in any one of three or four named hotels, and will not know until you arrive in Benidorm. I've actually done this with Thomsons in Benidorm. On that occasion the 3 hotels were Sol Pelicanos/Ocas, Victoria & Barcelo Pueblo (Now Pueblo Benidorm). I got the latter and really had a great holiday and so much cheaper than the brochure price.

Earlier this year I booked my hotel and flights separately for a 10 day holiday in Benidorm and was very pleased with the prices I got doing it that way.

benidorm is nothing like blackpool, it's a lovely place, with madness if you want it. teletext have the cheapest deals.

Thomson are the biggest, and arguably the best. I have travelled with them for many years. You notice that there are always loads of Thomson reps to meet you at the destination airport but you rarely spot any others. Also they are always contactable if you need them.
Don't drink too much sangria, and spare a thought for us at home in the rain.

You'll probably get a better deal if you were to stay half/full board, rather than self catering - especially if there's going to be just you or a couple of you going.
I've been with Thomson several times to Benidorm & have always had an excellent holiday.
If you book online, you can find discount codes - although sometimes you have to spend around Â£500 on the holiday.
As a guide, I went to Benidorm last December 15th-22nd, stayed in the Regente on a full-board basis & it cost us just Â£147 for the week - amazing really to say it would cost more than that to go away for the weekend in the UK!
The only thing I would say though is that sometimes Tomson holiday's may not include the transfer to the resort - make sure this is included when booking & also make sure if the price you pay is fixed, meaning that you're not going to have to pay extra once you arrive at the airport!

Also, if you find a good deal on Tomson's website, take the booking ref to your local Tomson shop & ask them to get you a better deal - we did this in June & they also gave us free admission into Mundomar - all we paid was the taxi from our hotel (Rio Park) to Mundomar which cost 4 euros.
