Barcelona & Girona have their own dedicated airports and although both in Catalonia are seperate cities,Barcelona airport is 13 Kilometers from the city center and Calella is about 50 Kilometers from Barcelona and 58 from Girona.

Well,the Girona airport isn't that far from Barcelona.There's an hourly bus service to the city,and it takes you more or less one hour to get there.The buses are great.The ticket costed sth around 15 euros (1 year ago) but I don't think it's changed much.
So,calculate 1 hour to Barcelona (think they go to the Estación del Norte -North Bus Station) and more or less 15-18 euros.The last one leaves Girona airport at 12 am (I landed around that hour and I know it by experience).

100 km. Best bet is to take the Barcelona bus via motorway. It takes about 90minutes by train (along the coast nice views) from Callela to Barcelona Sants station.
