December in tenerife?

Hi - I have stayed in Laguna Park 2 and it is at the top of a steep hill but if you are young this should be no problem. They are good apartments and should be quiet in the winter but they can be quite rowdy in the summer season.

I have been both for winter and summer holidays and I found even though I could sunbathe through the day in the winter it is still cold at night and I usually always wear jeans/trousers and take a jacket out with me.

The weather can be a hit or a miss it really depends on your luck I have had a week of glorious sunshine in the winter and also went once and the sun never came out once.

But however Tenerife is a fabby place with plenty to do even if the weather isnt great.

i work for a tour operator in tenerife that uses this complex. if you don't mind a lot of stairs then you'll be okay! there are no lifts in the complex and as its built on a hill there are a lot of steps. it has been getting refurbished recently so the apartments are looking not too bad now inside. its in the torviscas area of town and the walk from there into town would take you about 20 minutes however as its on a hill going to the beach is obviously quicker than getting back! as for the weather, it will be about mid to low 20s although i'd recommend long sleeves for night time. not much rain at this time of year but if it does rain, its warm rain! hope you enjoy your hols :o) http://www.lagunapark2.com/

Tenerife is known for year round sunshine but it may drop a little cool at night. Pack a mixture of night clothes.

the canary islands are steady spring. So you will need some sweater/pullover for the evening. What the weather will be in December, no one can tell you. But basically spring like, day 24Âº, night 18Âº. If you are going up to Teide, you will definitely need something warm. El Teide is the highest mountain of Spain!!

hI Laguna Park 2 is up a steep hill with loads of steps!!! it isnt a great place to be honest you would prefer laguna park 1 which is on the flat.
However it does have pools,bar and restaurant and supermarket on site.

They are a bit dated now so I would suggest asking on there again for more recent reviews.

Don't take any winter clothes with you, anything thicker than a light cardigan for when it gets a bit cooler in the evenings and it will be a waste of space in your suitcase!
