Why would they need to? Spain, and AndalucĂa are so much more Catholic than France!
And, no. I don't think AndalucĂa bears any French influence at all. The strongest influences there are, as always, the Moors and the Catholics, with a bit of Jewish peppered in. (more in some towns than others)
