Having lived in Spain for many years the best answer I have read is from Murcia. He is absolutely right in warning you about pick pockets in the cities!! As for vaccinations, no - you don't need a thing. Have a great time. |

The only thing I have ever been told is that when you are going abroad, you should be sure your tetanus is up to date. You should also be sure that you have all your hepatitis (just a general precaution).
If you are from the US, you need nothing else. Spain is leaps and bounds ahead of us in many ways, and their medicine is at least the same...mental health, not so much so...I have a friend there who needs Prozac, and they just won't give it to her! Gosh! They hand it out, here, like candy!
And, yeah, watch your wallet, camera, purse. Don't EVER let your guard down. The minute you do, that's when they get ya! |
