What's a decent price to pay for a one bedroom on a one year contract in say L'Eixample? Just a ball park figure. I read somewhere that L'Eixample was a nice neighborhood and not too ...
I'm visiting Barcelona for 4 days? What to visit? What are the big events there for the period of 20-24 July... What is free? What is not? Prices there???...

Do I need to purchase insurance from the rental car agency in Spain?
We have State Farm insurance and plan to rent from Avis. Will we need to add-on the collision damage waiver, personal accident insurance, and theft protection or will our current State Farm coverage be enough?
(FYI, we've already contacted our State Farm agent about this and have an answer from him, but I want to get the opinions and experiences of the community.)
it depends on the insurance you all ready have... some of them like the "Collision damage Waiver"... it is for the excess? it depends on how much your excess is ect. if you crashed here would you be able to afford the 200€/$ excess ??
Another thing is if you're from the U.S.A I don't know how it would work... I think you'd need to buy European Protection...
because here... they market insurance with European Cover as standad for 90 days for example.. but some companies don't give you any, so if you're from the U.K or E.U you might all ready have some
;) Also if you tick the box before you rent the car and ask for things such as a roof rack, if you rent the cheapest car and they don't have a roof rack for that model you've asked for then they will upgrade the car for you =) so add everything that is free, and that you could put-up with if you did have to get it.... but for example a Micra... you won't get a roof rack but it's an option so you might get a SEAT Ibiza =)
have a nice time

autoinsurance.maclenet.com - try this one. I have their car insurance and, as I know, they can provide such a service.

This is what I was told that the car rental companies, any of them, DO NOT tell you.
When you rent a car and have your own insurance, yes, usually, that will cover you, you need to check on that tho for sure, because some will not if you are OUT of the country, the thing is, if you get in a wreck, the car rental company will charge you every day that car is out of commission getting fixed for what they can rent it to per another person. Get insurance!
