Do any airlines fly direct from the States to the Canary Islands?

I am trying to find a direct flight from anywhere in the US to the Canary Islands. Any information on the airports their would be appreciated as well, such as the biggest or most popular. I have never been so additional information is appreciated as well, such as recommendations on which island to visit.

You could try "Direct Flight Destination Finder" to find the direct destination or at least the closest airport.
I've put a page below as well which has the Canary Islands listed which you can click through. I very much hope this helps. I'd probably look at Gran Canaria.

I'm from Spain. No, there aren't regular flights from the Estates to the Canary Islands. There are only direct flights to Madrid and Barcelona. Both cities are really well connected to the Canary Islands with many flights per day.

These are the regular direct flights from US to Spain:

US Airways: Philadelphia-Madrid and Philadelphia-Barcelona.
Delta Airlines: Atlanta-Madrid, Atlanta-Barcelona, NYJFK-Madrid and NYJFK-Barcelona.
Continental Airlines: Newark-Madrid and Newark-Barcelona.
Iberia: Chicago, NY-JFK and Miami to Madrid and Barcelona. All combinations.

There should be,at least, a flight per day every day of the week.

If you want info about flights between BCN or MAD to the Canary Islands, check the three spanish companies that operate this flights.

www.spanair.com
www.aireuropa.com

I think 5 of the Canary Islands have a proper airport. Honestly I would recommend to visit Tenerife and/or Lanzarote. I haven't been there but one of my friends is from Tenerife. The 2 islands I mentioned have a National Park.

You can also check a travel agency, it's unlikely but it may be a charter flight.

Feel free to e-mail me if you need extra help
