Aproximately the same. Both have buses which are linked with the flights so you arrive to the airport and you can get a bus that takes you to Barcelona. Trip should take 1h or 1h 15min. Prices are nearly the same, a little bit expensive in my opinion. You can check timetables and prices in the ryanair website. Check both destinations and you'll see a link in the bottom of the page which gives you info about the buses.
I'm from Barcelona and I have used both airports, no much difference, get a flight depending on the time of the flight and the price as there's no hassle at all.

Sounds like a Ryan Air flight plan.
From Reus (my favorite since it is cheaper then Girona most days) you can grab a bus or taxi into Reus then the train into Barcelona.
I am not entirely sure about Girona but it is a bit larger of an airport and would also most likely have transportation to downtown.
Barcelona is situated almost exactly in the middle between the 2 towns.
