IM SORRY,I DONT KNOW¡¡¡¡

KISSES FOR YOU¡¡¡

dubie
Catalonia IS Spain. There is no such thing as a Catalonian nationality, Catalonian border controls, Catalonian passports etc. The people that live in the Catalunyan region OF SPAIN may want to be independent and may have a different language but the truth of the matter is that independence has not been granted to them and it would seem a little geographically illogical to do so.

Fran
This is an stupid idea made by some politicians that want the independence of Cataluña. But as the Spanish Constitution states, Cataluña is part of Spain in the same way Madrid (e.g) is. Nobody should doubt it.

CATALUÑA FUÉ, ES Y SERÁ ESPAÑA POR MUCHO QUE TE DUELA TOMATILLA.
HAY CATALANES QUE SE SIENTEN TAN ESPAÑOLES COMO UNO DE ALMERÍA.

CATALONIA IS SPAIN.

Well I'm afraid your statement is wrong. Catalonia IS part of Spain , for the moment at least and anyone who says it is not is living in cloud cuckoo land. If it isn't then where are the Catalan passports. I know Catalans are very different to the rest of the people in Spain and many want independence but I don't see it happening any time soon. Catalonia is a lovely place to live and I have great respect for the people and love for the place itself, which I know fairly well after living there 17 years.
¡¡Bona sort als Catalans !! ¡¡Visca Catalunya !!

Yes, and so do you - you're Spanish! Also, you're not supposed to answer in another language in the English speaking section - for those who have - why not answer/ask in the Spanish/Catalan Yahoo answers?

betoyou, contento y descansado
Yes, catalonia has not toreadores, and people drink cava en vez de sangria.

More quises for yú!

Of course Catalonia is not Spain. It's South Andorra. There are also many states inside the iberian peninsula, like North Portugal or Upper Morocco. Frankish came to Soria and created Franconia. It's basic geography.

Totally different feel! The people identify themselves MORE as Catalanes, then as Spaniards.

No it is not. It has it's own government and own prices etc. It is considered as a tax free zone so that electrical goods etc are cheaper to buy there. There is of course a premium to pay when you import your purchases into GB.
