To muslims or to the moors? Indonesia, for example, is a muslim country but has never had anything to do with Spain so why do you as a muslim think you are entitled to it??

Yes, Spain was INVADED by the MOORS in 711 and they were KICKED OUT in 1492. We were influenced by your architecture, music, food.... but you can keep the rest - thank you very much.

Regarding the doner kebab shops and the fruit and veg stalls - the majority of them are run by moroccans etc.... I suppose it gives them a... home away from home feeling!!

Why do you think that it ever belonged to (Arab or as you have written Muslim) it was invaded then occupied by the Moors hope this answers your question as far as fruit stalls there has been a decrease of fruit stalls of 55% in the last 25 years we shop in supermarkets full of fruit veg and other foods we dont stand in the streets buying food stuffs covered in flys . and also there in no way it will be run under Muslim law ever again.

Anyway, even when part of the Iberian peninsula was Muslim, it was a fairly relaxed for the most part. compared to Muslims in Africa and the Middle East, the Muslims who ruled Spain were culturally open minded. They drank, lived side-by-side with Christians and Jews.

But as it has been said, Spain was never Muslim, only parts of the Iberian peninsula were muslim.

Spain will be Muslim if Spaniards want to be Muslim, but the answer is "NO". We don't consider ourselves as christians, muslims, jews... we're only SPANIARDS, and above all, human beings. Spain doesn't belong to any religion.
We're just becoming more cosmopolitan and more open-minded. It's beautiful to see different cultures in the same country.

Whether you like it or not Its almost inevitable that Spain will return to Muslim rule at some point...along with large parts of Europe.
