It is the other side of the Island about fourty miles, I love Es Cana lovely quiet place, but in my opinion the market is not worth coming all that way for. Ibiza town at night is great shops, bars and the pretty people all come out. You can not tell if they are men or women they look amazing. (some of them)

It's about a 30 minute drive. I've been to Ibiza many times inc. Es Cana. Also try to visit Santa Eulalia...go down to the harbour and walk the length of the beach in the evening when it's cooler.
Also there is a bar at the harbour in Santa Eulalia called The Mirage which is definitely worth a night out. They usually have two acts on per night. 1st one at ten, 2nd at midnight and their acts tend to be very good. Check it out to see what's on while you're there. Great party atmosphere and dancing
Have a good time

Its about 40km and the time it will take will depend upon when you are here. The best route to take at the moment is the Sant Josep road towards the airport and Ibiza then the new dual carriage way through Ibiza town and towards St Eularia (whizzes under the main road) and then onwards to Es Canar easy peasy. Doing it that way should avoid all the major roadworks although that could change! Also if you like markets then go to the Sant Jordi market on Saturday morning. Same sort of thing as the hippy market but not as expensive - more locals than tourists. Its not as pretty but you are more likely to get a bargain.
Hope you have a good holiday.
