Almost every middle to big city in Spain, university towns and summer resorts have a lively nightlife. Madrid and Barcelona are the nightlife capitals of Spain, and probably of Europe (together Berlin and London, of course) with a lot of bars districts with different styles and large discoteques. Ibiza and Majorca islands, and most coastal cities of the Mediterranean and South Atlantic have a vibrant nightlife (like Alicante, Benidorm, Torrevieja, Valencia, Castellón, Benicà ssim, Salou, Málaga, Murcia's towns, Cadiz), as well as the Canary Islands.
Salamanca, a inland university town, is very famous in Spain because of its vibrant nightlife, full of students, altough the city is a little boring when the students are on holiday.
The whole Spain is worthy to go out in the night, but the places I've said have a reputation. |

Ibiza is supposed to be one of the best clubbing towns in Europe. So i have heard. not my idea of a good vacation, but nowadays, I can blame that on being an old fart.

I would say all the larger towns have good nightlife.
I live in Madrid and its crawling with nightlife and well known
I like it becuase you don t need ot be inide a club to have a drink or socialize with friends
Many at night are in the Plaza's just hanging with friends .
Madrid also has beautiful buildings and fantastic parks.
Again not to take away from other cities....its just all I know for now. |

You will find night life everywhere in Barcelona but if you can find a hotel close to Las Ramblas even better. |

I was in spain last summer and one of the places we went was barcelona and there is a lot of nightlife on the beach, there are tons of little resturaunts with parties and most of the hotels have bars and there are tons of bars around there too with plenty to see |

There is only one place in mainland Spain and that is in and around Marbella.
