Does anyone know what the temperature in Menorca was?
I recently went away to Menorca from the 6th to 16th of August. During the first week the weather was so hot, apparently they were having a extreme heatwave. Does anyone know how high the temperatures were during this time.

Whilst the averages don't look too out of the ordinary (I'm a regular to Menorca!) it's the peaks that you're probably remembering 33.2 is very hot by anyones standards. Bear in mind too that these temperature were recorded in Mahon (the capital) but if you're lying on the beach or out of the way of any wind - it's very likely to have felt far hotter. Also, anything over 20 is likely to feel nasty at night when trying to sleep, especially when it's humid (as it can be in Menorca)
