To get into the clubs/disco bars it is normally 18. In Spain the drinking culture is different and family's will go out and have a meal and everyone gets a glass of wine, so they aren't as strict on the age limit. To buy alcohol in shops it is again 18 however I don't know how strict they are on that.
If you want to buy cigarettes in a bar you are meant to be 18 as well and they recently introduced a method to try and stop cigarettes being sold to under 18's. The idea is you have to ask at the bar to get them to press a button to activate the machine. However when the bar gets busy it is unrealistic and so most leave the key fob on or above the machine!
I haven't seen anyone being asked for ID when requesting drinks but i suppose it depends how old you are and how old you look!

There are no age limits for drinking or smoking in Spain/Ibiza, it´s just that they´re not going to sell any of these if you´re under 16.

I believe it is 16 for both. I think they were trying to push for 18 through legislation but unsure if it went into effect yet or not.
Spain is better known for sex though. Just a joke, geeze! But Ibiza is the hotbed for free expression of love.
