The best thing you can do is get information from the Bristish council in Spain.Unless it´s a specialized school, the only English they teach is the subject itself. All the other subjects are taught in Spanish or the language of each region (in Catalonia is Catalan for instance)
In universities it´s different,of course. But if you are talking about school for children or teenagers, then it has to be a British school, that they exist,of course they do.http://ukinspain.fco.gov.uk/en/our-offices-in-spain/consular-offices/barcelona-consulate-general/ contact them. They are very helpful and nice and they can give you all the information you need or refer you to the schools straight away.http://www.nabss.org/ you can also contact them. They are a web with information about all the British schools in Spain.Just in these schools you´ll find what you need.Hope it helped! :)
In British schools they´ll also teach Spanish, but I think that it´s a good idea to choose this schools if you can afford it.
Spanish schools are good, but English is so important nowadays, that will always look great on a CV when they are older. |

It is so important now that children are taught some English. The international language in Europe is of course English. Unfortunately Spanish is not widely known in Europe. I doubt if you will find courses taught in English in the Universities unless it is English itself. I am an English teacher here and I think this to be true. |

You can choose if your children do english as a subject (or french like my daughter) but in the schools in our area, all classes are taught in spanish or castellano. There is a new law here in our province (Valencia) that one class per week must be taught in english but all the teachers are protesting this law and good for them! This is espana, why should they teach in english??? |
