I love spain and would very much like to work there in a professional capacity. I am looking for a job in IT.I speak basic spanish as I believe it is courteous to do your best to communicate in the language of the country you live in. My spanish is not good enough to use in a work capacity so I am looking for a list of companies in Spain preferably in Madrid and Barcelona that use English as the working language. Spain is part of the European Union so I'm free to work in it as much as you. So what if there's a recession, what are people meant to do, pull the duvet over their heads and go back to sleep. Yes I do know Spanish people can speak English, I probably have more Spanish friends than you. By your response and grammar, I would recommend extra English lessons to help you and a couple of books on positive thinking. |

Whilst perhaps you felt replies were negative, it is the case that where there are any vacancies, the first choice will be a Spaniard which I think even you would agree is only correct. However, there is certainly no harm in approaching the employment agencies - you have nothing to lose. |

There are very few jobs at the moment for anyone, and Spanish people get the jobs first. There is a recession at the moment, you may have heard of it and should definitely have done a little research on the economy and job market. Spanish people can speak english too you know! If you want so very much to work in Spain, do your own job hunting instead of asking Yahoo Answers. |
