I would definitely recommend Benidorm as it's busy all year round.
With families & groups in the Spring & Summer, then come Autumn & Winter the older generation's take their holidays (for up to 12 weeks at a time).
Some hotels even offer jobs to English speaking staff, especially in the bar & dining room.
There's hundreds of bars/clubs in Benidorm & quite often you can just ask at a bar & if they don't have a position, they'll probably know someone who does.
Most pubs have vacancy notices displayed on their windows & you can usually pick where you'd prefer to work as there's usually so many to choose from.
Good Luck & I hope you find work in Spain.

Hello.
If you want to work as waitress and hotels I recommend to you the sites(places) where it frequents very much the tourism ... especially people where the people speaks English.
These places are on the coasts of Spain ... for example:
- Canary Island: Tenerife and Gran Canary (better in the south of the islands, there they need people with Englishman(English))
- Valencian community: Benidorm, Alicante.
- Islas Baleares: Ibiza, Majorca.
-AndalucÃa: Malga, Torremolinos, Marbella... |

Try the Balearic Islands and all the east costas. I have to warn you though that it could be quite tough next summer, this summer it was already difficult to find this kind of job, even for foreigners who speak good Spanish. Spain is facing recession and it doesn't look like it's going to end before summer 2009.
Good luck anyway! |

Between Alicante and Cartegeña there is Torrevieja and La Zenia. There are so many expats living there that you will find it difficult to find anyone who speaks Spanish. Loads of bars and restaurants.
Having a job waiting in Spain is very poorly paid. On top of that, there are many Spaniards out of work right now. You may have to wait in line to get a job.
I live in Spain |

Costa del Sol.
Baleares.
Canarias.
You might be in demand in Madrid or Barcelona, as well.
You might find it difficult to find work, though...I have heard that they are deep in recession, and people are out of work in droves.
Good luck! |
