For a 17 yrs old girl who loves partying, Alicante or Sevilla? |
I'll go for a language course in Spain this summer for 2 or 3 weeks. But i still don't know where to go.
I've been in Salamanca for the last 2 summers, and the nightlife was awesome!
I would like to know, which city is best for partying and if a girl of 17 will other friends of the same age could get in discotecas and all [not casinos] ?
So, Alicante or Sevilla? |

Sevilla, it is a bigger city, therefore are more parties, for the rest they are very similar |

To be honest with you, you are better going to Alicante. There are a lot of touristy resorts close by also so if all you care about is nightlife then go to Alicante, as Sevilla is much more cultured and interesting to '' other kind of people '' and not you. |

Don't click on that link from Rowena...it looks fishy, and I've gotten so many viruses from that sort of link...I'd avoid that.
They are both great cities...I lived in Sevilla, and a large number of people from a course I took a few years agoe lived in Alicante. They raved just as much as I do. You will have a blast either way, I'm sure. No beach in Sevilla, but SUCH history! Then again, it has become a very sprawling city. If you can get close to the Centro for living arrangements, you'll be happier, but it will probably cost more.
Here's a piece for you...make your decision partly based upon the school you'll be going to...I chose Sevilla mostly because I went to classes right there in the University, with the Spanish people, rather than at one of those Institutos, where you are surrounded, not by Spaniards, but by foreigners, mostly, in many cases, Americans. If you can get into the University, instead, go that route!
And, it's Spain, there's night life! |
