GOOD Resturants in Barcelona?
Hello I am going to the Costa Brava in a few weeks and we are taking a trip to Barcelona. Can anyone reccomend a few good resturants (idealy tapas) or places to go?
I am more interested in the 'real' Spansh food!
I would recommend looking around the Barcelonetta area (near the beach). I stayed in that area for several days last May, and there are a number of good restaurants hidden in the little streets, and I had some excellent tapas in a bar there (sorry, don't know the name).
Remember that, as one of my Spanish friends told me, tapas in Spain is just regular food. All the popular tourist tapas restaurants in Las Ramblas serve overpriced tapas which isn't as good as you'll find in little cafes or bars, but because most tourists end up in Las Ramblas they get away with it!
