I went to Menorca as a child. I would like to go again because there are some good things to see. The town of Ciutadella looked quite beautiful, it used to be the island's capital before Mahón was. Also, there are old tombs dotted all over the island within sight of some of the main roads. Check those out.

I'm sooooooo jealous. Went to menorca a couple of years ago, stayed in a very quiet place called Punta Prima. The beaches are fab and a visit to Mahon is a must. I'm sure Cala Galdana will be lovely and hope you have a fantastic time!!!!
