Going to Puerto Rico, G.Canaria in July, whats it like? |
Ive had a look on tripadvisor n holiday watchdog, hotel we stayin at has great reviews (Morasol Suites) by the marina.
Whats the actual area like? need general info please.
Neither of us drive so we will walk / taxi to most places.
Dont want anything rowdy, want a nice quite break, so any decent resturants etc? bars?

You have chosen well, hotel is on ground level so no hills, the views are lovely, there are 3 main areas to eat and drink, but there is a small centre 5 mins from your hotel, come out go right, walk under the tunnel and on your left there ar about 4 eating places and a nice little British run bar, we tend to eat at the chinese on the first floor. Another nice little area is across the roundabout outside your hotel under the portonova complex we eat at the Indian there and is lovely, also try over the road at the Marina there is a bar Flannagans apple which we end up at every night which is good you can have a good laugh and its only 5 mins from your hotel no taxis |

Nice beach and the best place on the island for good weather.Loads of eating places and reasonable.
You should take a boat trip to Mogan.That is a lovely place,class combined with style.Nice fish restaurants and a little market ,nice fresh fruit. I`d better stop,I`m getting carried away.

like edel b i stayed in playa del linges very wild but good fun. went to puerto for a day nice and quiet, just be careful of the street traders they'll try and put these bracelets things on your hand even if u don't want them and there burned on so u cant get them off without cutting them off they'll then surround u lots of them and try and get like 20 or 30 euro.you could also try a site called w.a.y.n.com its for travellers people who have been there or live there and they.ll give names of pubs and restaurants. have a good trip |

i stayed in play del ingles which is very rowdy lol. but we went to puerto rico for a day and it was so different, its quiet and beautiful you should have a lovely time there. sorry i cant remember any names of bars r anything but there is lots of variety. anyway hope you have a great holiday |
