Going to marbella on 18th august any ideas onplaces to eat thing to do etc??

I'm not so sure I would take the kids to the Selwo Park in summer as most, if not all, of the animals will be hiding from the heat! There is a Sea life animal park in Benalmadena that you could go to and there is also a big amusement park there called Tivoli World and that has lots of kiddie rides and restaurants so you could have an evening out there. Benalmadena would be approx 15 min drive east from Elviria. You could also go to one of the Aqua parks - the nearest one to you would be the one on the outskirts of Fuengirola. With regards to beaches you have a nice one at Don Carlos which is almost directly opposite Elivira. Have a good holiday.

Miss London is right, take them to the Selwo parks, I was recently in selwo marine, my kids loved it, especially the dolphins. Also Mijas Aqua park, I am sure they will have a good time there. Visit Tivoli World in Benalmadena this is a big park that opens evenings only, there are live shows, bumper cars and many different rides for kids and many restaurants.You can also come to my home town Gibraltar and visit up the rock to see the monkeys.Gibraltar is only 45 mins away from Marbella. www.gibraltar.gov.uk. Any way where ever you go I hope you have a good time.

....you could go to the Marbella jail and visit Julian Munez,
or you could go on the "tour of corruption", or you could visit the home of Jesus Gil... whom started all of this.... spains a corupt sorta palce ... be sure to buy lots of cd's in the street, we a law aginst this ... stolen intelectual property, but, IT'S SPAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! take it all we don't care!!!!!!

Take them to the small town of La Cala de Mijas near Fuengirola. There is a good beach and good beach side restaurants, but walk to the far end of the beach. Your kids will find large clam like shells. Beware though, they may want to take many home which you will have to carry.
For a good restaurant, my favourite is El Coto on the Ronda Road from San Pedro. It's not cheap but it is good.

You must go to the Selwo parks, the children will love them. The safari one is near Estopona, and the water one is near Benalamedena. (They are both well signposted) Sometimes if you buy happy meals in McDonald's (there is one in Calahonda), the children get free entry tickets. Both parks are really good. The dolphin show at the water park is brilliant.
There are nice restaurants at Capobino Marina (10min drive east from Elviria).
