Good family hotel in Salou ?

Hi, I stayed in the Dorada Palace Apartments/Hotel last may and it was brill. We had three children with us aged 9, 4 and 1 and it was ideal for them with a kids club, 2 pools and close to the beach and shops about 5mins away. Its just beside Portaventura aswell. It was nice and quiet but close enough to everything to have a good time. Hope that helps!

I was in hotel Blaumar last month.
Great accomodation and entertainment for children every night. On the beachfront and in the centre , but quiet at the same time, it`s got sea views but it`s not in the bar area.
Magicians, kids discos etc at night.My seven year old son loved it. I actually prefer to be in Salou to La pineda , more going on for kids.

Well we have booked into the Estival Park hotel in september for two weeks. This is situated in La Pineda which is only 2km from Salou resort.

I went to Salou in Sept 2004 but we stayed in negresco princess in Cap Salou.

We stayed in the dourada princess last aug it was fab plenty of stuff too do has own kids club and adult entertainment day and eve takes appx 10 min to walk to beach highly recomend on self catering. Not too noisy in a quiet area

Donaire Park in La Pineda is right on the sand, Cambrills Princes in Cambrills is nice.

Just back from Cap Salou, but a bit too far to walk in. Taxi costs 8Euros.
Stayed in La Pineda a few times now and it's by far the best on this coast.
Has a great water park right in the centre, no larger louts, plenty of shops etc and is a bout 5 mins in a taxi into Salou.

Oasis Park 800m from the beach, had a great time there 2 years ago, great pool, kids club and good entertainment, hope you have a great time whichever you decide, Salou is a great place to visit, dont forget to visit Port Aventura, you`ll all have a great time.

Yes we stayed at Estival park La pineda too and it is much much better than the next resort up (Salou).

So have a look at their web site, we ae off there next month, 5th time i think!

Salou is just something you drive through when going to La Pineda resort. La Pineda is much more modern and clean.
