Hallo, I live actually in Gran Canaria working in tourism business.
Well, I work with Colina Mar in Puerto Rico, sending Scandinavian tourists to that house.
It really depends what you are looking for. If you made up your mind that you want to stay in Puerto Rico, Colina Mar might be a good choice for you, as the house has been completely reformed in 2005, there are various swimming pools, bars, restaurants, supermarket, etc inside the complex and the apartments are really big (up to 4 adults allowed per apartment) and very well furbished.
Puerto Rico is an almost exclusive British and Scandinavian tourist resort... apart from some Irish you can find also there. So be aware of this before you go.
Nothing against the Brits, it’s fabulous people, but if you are Italian, German or whatever you would feel really lost.
Colina Mar is situated on a hill in Puerto Rico, next to shopping centre Europe, where you can find bars, restaurants, pubs etc...
The beach is around 2 km away, but taxis are very cheap (around 2,40 € per way), there is a local bus stop just 100 m away and well, walking down is okay, just walking back and up the hill......... goodness!!!
I personally like this house a lot. It’s sincerely one of the best places in Puerto Rico to go - good choice!! |
