Airlines will allow children 3 and up escorted by the airline stewardess to bring the child to point "a" to point "b". You must inquire with the various airlines as some have the lowest age they will take. Child must have a waver to bring with him to show who will be picking him up at the airport, all children traveling sit in an area visable by all stewardesses.
In no time will the child be left alone.
Most airlines have an age below which you can't fly alone, and a higher age where you can, but have to pay an extra fee for an airline employee to keep track of you. Also, rules can be different for direct flights, non-stop flights, and connecting flights.
Gone through this as a child. I felt like an adult !

10 or older but it all depends on where you are going and where you are flying out of !!!

Depends on the airline - different ones have different limits. Most airlines have an age below which you can't fly alone, and a higher age where you can, but have to pay an extra fee for an airline employee to keep track of you. Also, rules can be different for direct flights, non-stop flights, and connecting flights.

some 18

I thought it was 15

This depends on the airline you are flying with, but often 5 is the benchmark. At this age, the airline requires that an adult drop-off and pick-up the child from the terminal, however the child can fly without the parent.

Children flying without parents are often situated at the back of the plane, near the cabin crew.

chris is confused as ****
There aren't any age restictions.
Unless maybe you're, like... 2 years old.
But I know you can be 7 or 8 and still fly without an adult, I've done it.
