I live in Puerto Rico the complex I live in overlooks Amadores beach and the complex is secure. Many English living there. The rents for a 1 bedroom apartment ranges from 500€ to 600€ per month including water and electricity.
Cardenas arrange long lets for this complex.
If I was you I would go over for a week or so and look around save yourself a lot of money if you don't use the agencies. Playa del Ingles is not one of the best places to live.
