the best time to go is in July . The bull run is on the 7th of July at 7.am it is an exhilarating experience. i think it is dangerous to run with the bulls |

If you are looking for a room, good luck. It's already too late. But you do need to get there probably the day before the event if you want to have a chance to see the whole party going. Please don't run with the bulls. Usually the streets are wet from the cleaning, the run is not 100 meter dash, more like 1,000 or more, and these are full size bulls, no anorexic cattle. Seriously. Be sure to wear as much white as possible. |

And they will give you all the important information, including how to run the bulls...
(One piece of advice: if you run the bulls...don't drink beforehand...you have to be agile and alert to run in front of the bulls!! It IS dangerous! Every year someone gets stepped on or gored by a bulll, if lucky it isn't too serious, as that is why everyone runs together...to help each other out in the confusion of the moment).
Also the bull runs are every morning during the festival, not just on the 7th of july.Which is the Feast Day of San FermÃn
This year it starts at 12 noon on the 6th...and ends at midnight on the 14th. of july. The running of the bulls will be every morning from july 7 to july 14 at 8 a.m. The rest of the day there are many things to do and see...check out the website... |

Be there before 12:00Pm of the day before the bull run. It's an all out party. On the day of the bull run, the cops will start lining everyone up about an hour before the run--about 7:00 AM. Running is not that dangerous if you run smart. You can run in the middle towards the beginning of the pack, but in order to run, you gotta use your ears. Listen for the screaming in the balocines--they will tell you when bulls are close. Listen for the rockets---they will tell you when all of the bulls are out of the pen. I survived so I'm biased towards saying it's the most dangerous mudt-have fun that I've ever had in my life. |
