Hi Stawberrymoon.
I have not stayed in it, but I've visited it three times on travel agents educationals and I'e sold this one many times over the years as a travel agent (now retired)
If I am perfectly honest with you, it's a fairly decent typical Majorca 3 star hotel.
Nothing particularly special, but if it's a family holiday your after then it's fine.
Majorca is full of bog-standard 3 star accomodation, it has very few what I'd call outstanding hotels, but this is in my personal opinion one of the better ones. Everyone has differing opinions but if you know what to expect before you go, you can prepare.
There are more people who love this hotel than hate it.
I wouldn't sell it to anyone looking for really good accomodation who's used to 4 & 5 star luxury but I would sell it honestly to families on a budget who are looking for a clean base with a good pool & decent location.
Familes with kids looking for lots of facilities and entertainment on hand will be happy here.
However, the biggest problem with this property and in all the accomodation in this area is because of their location near the stagnant lake. When you have such a large area of stagnant water like this, it is a breeding ground for mosquitoes and boy this is some breeding ground!
Everyone complains about the insects, and you must remember to take plenty of insect repellant and I know this sounds ridiculous but seriously consider investing in mosquito nets to hang above your beds because the little blighters have a feast during the night! I can't remember if theres air-conditioning or not and if there is whether or not you have to pay for it. If it's available even at a cost do consider paying the extra it will kill most of the mozzies if nothing else.
There is also a power station nearby which does little for the view it also smells on occasion!
Apart from that most people are quite positive about it and it's definitley a whole lot better than the Club Mac complex which is nearby.
It is basic. Don't expect much in the way of luxurires but most say it's clean and well maintained.
The beach is around 10-15 minutes away which is well worth a visit, but there are 6 swimming pools I think overall so at least you have a choice! That said, there always is the rush for the sunbeds by the pool every morning!

I hope you have a lovely holiday! All the very best of luck! |

Hiya,
I have just come back from Lagotel after spending a fantastic week there. There is a lot on site - tennis courts, crazy golf, table-tennis, etc however, there is a bar called Cheers about ten mins walk away which is fantastic with quizzes and evening entertainment.
The hotel rooms are extremely clean and although the staff didn't speak much English they were very friendly.
All in all a great place. |
