Yes, people have been to Hotel More or it would be closed by now. Hotel entertainment varies from night to night as does any Hotel's Entertainment. There is bus service right in front of the Hotel More!

I found this on the net:

"Hotel More - Alcudia - Majorca

The Hotel More is situated just 5 meters from the More Vermell beach, with wonderful views of the bay of Port of Pollensa and Formentor. It is in a very quiet residential area, ideal for a relaxing, restful family holiday.

The hotel is situated at 1 Km. Distance from Alcudia Town the old roman city of Pollentia and 3 Km. From the Port of Alcudia where the shops and nightlife is to be found.

It is constantly renovated, the last time was 2004-2005.

The hotel was built in 1965 over an antique summer residence constructed in the year 1930 approx. And extended in 1968. On the floor where the reception is situated is where the original old house was, and is still decorated with the typical mallorcan furniture of that time.

It is a family run hotel which consists of 116 rooms, mostly double rooms some of which can have supplement beds, such as a 3 bedded room or for two adults and two children.

There are 3 individual rooms which do not have a balcony and in these there is a double bed. All rooms have a bath with shower, telephone and safes which are for hire.

There is a ground floor where the restaurant is situated which was originally the old garages and where water was stored. The restaurant has a Buffet Service but special meals are available on request beforehand. The bar is open from 9:30 am to midnight and there is entertainment on various days according to the season.

In front of the Hotel More is the swimming pool with section for infants and to the side a very peaceful beach. 2 other local beaches at Mal Pas can be reached after a walk of 1 Km., and at 3 kms distance the Port of Alcudia.

There is a large room behind the bar for entertainment or weather permitting in an outside patio where you can also play table tennis. Near the bar is a pool table and games machines. There is also available satelite television and also snacks and ice creams can be obtained from the bar. With air conditioning in the public areas.

From the hotel there are 4 buses a day into Alcudia and from the town itself there is an excellent local service to Port of Pollensa through to Can Picafort, and an hourly service to Palma.

There is also a possibility of organising excursions to various parts of the island.

Distances:

-Airport: 75 km

-Rent a Boat: 3 km

-Bus Stop: 0 mts

-Golf Course: 6 km

-Village center: 1 km

-Medical center: 1 km

-Horse riding: 14 km

-Palma de Mallorca: 70 km

-Beach: 0 mts

-Taxis: 1 km"

alcudia is great... tiny stroll to the beach though... the high street is on your doorstep.. about 5 minutes walk..... mind the sand on the beach between 12-1400... it will burn your feet........
