Has anyone been to Pineda Del Mar in Spain??

Me and my boyfriend are going on 7th September. I was just wondering if the weather will still be hot out there? We are not really bothered about clubbing etc but wondered if there are some bars in the area, if not is there neighbouring towns within travelling distance with a variety of bars etc?
Any info about the place is appreciated as i know very little. Thanks in advance to all that answer :)

Was there in July for a week, at the Taurus Park Hotel, right on the seafront. It's a nice resort, albeit on the quieter side, but there are plenty of bars & restaurants, most of which are in the centre of the town & near to the train station. For a silly price of around 6 euros, the train will take you to Barcelona. In the other direction it will take you to Blanes, from where you can take a bus to LLoret de Mar.
The livelier resort of Calella is right next door, with it's long pedestrianised shopping centre and many bars & clubs. It's a shortish walk from Pineda or, as already stated, you could take the land train which takes you to the boundary road dividing the two towns. Calella has it's own land train too.
Both towns have a large market, Pineda on Friday & Calella on Saturday. If you are intending to use the beach much it might pay you to buy a couple of lilos and an umbrella, which you can do very cheaply. I say this as on the beach you will pay 4 euros for a sun bed & another 4 euros for an umbrella.
The link below gives a 15 day forecast, which is updated daily. At the moment it's forecasting temperatures between 22*-28*C, with plenty of sun, so you should have a great time.

I live in Benidorm and have not been to Pineda, however someone said it may be 20 degrees, wrong! It will be more than that I assure you. Today in Alicante it's 29. Check out this website where you can doa forecast for the place you are going:

just come back from here, the weather will still be in the early 20s in september but you may get lucky and it will be higher. check on a 5 day forecast on bbc or other weather channel before you go. Idont know of one nightclub there (but i wasnt looking for one). the main square of pineda is lovely and bustling with lots of cafes where you can drink. Callella only a 15 min walk from pineda(but theres a mini train that runs all round the resort and its only 2 euros). Callella has far more bars etc. Its a lovely place and quite laid back. The beach is nice but the sea shelves very quickly and is very choppy. Enjoy your hols x

Yes, i have been here several times with my family. Stayed at the hotel Taurus Park, which is ok if you have a load of kids with you but i wouldnt reccommend it to couples. Pineda itself is a fairly quiet spanish village/town but there are some nice bars along the seafront at night which are easily within walking distance and Calella is also nice.

The best mode of transport however is the train which runs all the way down the coast. The station right near the beach and i would definitly reccommend taking a trip to Barcelona from here. Another way to get around is to take a boat trip along the coast which is fairly cheap and fun.

The beach here is quite rough on the feet as the sand is fairly coarse.

I have been to Pineda, near Callela, Costa Brava, I presume its the same place, it is a nice place and is near rail link for Barcelona, it was long time ago I was there and was nice but wouldn't go back, it is still warm there just not about 25c. There is bars nearby or go into Callela, wouldn't recommend Lloret

The temperature this week will be between 28c - 30c. That will feel hot to you. It's warmer than that here in Málaga but you should get good temperatures. I'll be there for one day at the end of the month.
