I'm from Spain and I've been to LLoret del Mar two years ago.
It has beautiful beaches and it's near Barcelona.
It also has good weather!
If you're looking for places with discos, parties and
lots of tourists it's OK. But if u want peace and quiet forget about it.Specially if you are planning to go in summer.

I am double you age but I didn't like Lloret, it is too noisy and horrid beach, if you are planning travelling around the area there is some nice bits.
