Has anyone got advice for someone going to Spain by them self (Almeria or Murcia)?

Its always difficult going on holiday by your self, I want to spend time in the area of Murcia or Almeria.
When I look up the internet for hostels all I seem to get are hotels which are very expensive 76-80 Euros per night
What I need are nice hostels, as I am going to spend at least three weeks duration in the areas that I mentioned. If any one can help I would be very grateful.. I know that I can get a cheap flight and when I get to my destination, look for my accommodation then, I still like to have a few days secured before I arrive, as I said if any one can help I would be very grateful.

The Torreluz II Hotel is located in the heart of Almería, within walking distance of famous landmarks as the Alcazaba, the Cathedral, the Town Hall and many others and also close to public transport, shops and restaurants. It was with the Torreluz III Hotel, the first hotel in Almería to obtain quality certification under ISO 9001. Torreluz II Hotel has most of its services in common with Torreluz III Hotel, both beside each other.
This warm and friendly hotel is ideal for those wishing to fully experience Almería.
It offers quick and easy access to Airport (12 kms.). The Train and Bus Station are only a 20 minutes´ walk away as well the Port of Almería lies only 300 metres away.

At the moment this hotel is only 50 euros, but if you go to this site and have a good look around you will find lots of bargains.
Just change areas from Almeria to Murcia

Citymar Embajador Hotel Almeria
This hotel works out between 28 - 30 euros per night and there are many more like it
just click on late deals and filter for ** or ***

The latest copy of Lonely Planet Spain is a must!

progressive scan
Check "Instalación Juvenil Almeria", at www.hihostels.com/dba/hostel051011.en.ht...
It is a cheap youth hostel, though you cannot book more than 6 nights in it.

if you want to stay for 3 weeks i know an great place you could go, its called camposol,its near mazarron in murcia.about 10 min to the coast.
you can rent a 2 bed bungalow for a week for about 150quid.depending on the dates you want to go;

have a look at this website,theres diffrent prices for diffrent villas,its on a golf course if you like playing go;f!! check it out

http://www.holidaylettings.co.uk/camposol-golf/

hope this helps;
i anwsered this question a while ago so ive just copied the answer for you, it also tells you about the areas.

There are airports in both almeria province and murcia......depending where abouts you are staying in each, depends how far away from the airports or coast you are.

Almeria is very mountiny (thats not a word is it?)...try again;..in almeria there are a lot of mountains and small spanish villages in the mountains, very andalucian style!.....its very 'old' spain if you know what i mean. it can get very windy in almeria though, so sometime the flights re-direct to other airports.Almería airport is about 10 Kilometres east of the city centre of almeria. The transport is good in almeria city, tehre are penty of buses and trains to other provinces and taxis. But the more you go inland obviously the harder it is to get around. but there are still quite a few buses going threw all the main villages,from there you can get tio the smaller villages.again depending on what part of almeria you are, you can be 5 mins from the coast or 3 hours from it!

Murcia; I am currently trying to buy a house in murcia, (so i recomend it!!) again in murcia there is an airport.the airport is about 5km from murcia center. Murcia is very big on cultivation, its where a lot of europes citrus fruits and olives come from.The importance of the city over the years can be seen in its churches, palaces and other public buildings. To see Murcian Baroque at its best, visit the churches of La Merced, San Juan de Dios, San Nicolas or San Miguel and buildings such as the Bishop 5 Palace or the Palacio Fontes.
Murcia tries its best to preserve its historical treasures as well as allowing visitors/tourists to see them.
in murcia you can be staying right on the coast or inland which can be up to 2hrs away id say.
murcia is flatter than almeria. not so many mountains.

hope this helps..
anything else i can help you with feel free to email me, i will try my best to help
sorry didnt realise id written so much!....u asked about hostels, i dont know any but this site has some for almeria;

http://www.go2spain.co.uk/travel-in-spai...

and here is some hostles for murcia
