Has anyone seen strange lights yesterday evening in the sky over Mijas Costa del Sol? |
My wife and I saw a series of lights which appeared to rise from the coast into the sky. They were silent and looked like the flames you might see from a hot air balloon. About a dozen of these flew overhead. |

I wasn't fortunate to see this, but my guess by your description sounds like the northern lights more commonly seen in Aberdeen and Shetland, but can be seen anywhere if the conditions are right. |

Unfortunately I live in the Costa Blanca so did not see anything but strangely was thinking I wish I could see something here in the sky.......coincidence??

I live in Arroyo de la Miel,
Early in the morning I was just getting up to go for a "jimmy riddle", I looked out of the window, and a shooting star just seemed to fly over the house from the direction of Torremolinos, up the mountain where all the antenna are, could this have been a similar incident?? |
