Has anyone visited Spain?

How was your trip? What was your favorite part? How does it compare with other places you've visited?

Yes, I've lived in Spain for one semester (4 and a half months) in Madrid. I've loved it. I've also traveled around the country to cities like Granada, Cordoba, Sevialla, Cadiz, Santiago de Compostela, Vigo, Barcelona, and the island of Mallorca. Each city is different and you'll see many differences like for ex. in language, and behavior. I liked Mardid a lot where I stayed for about 90% of my trip. This city has a lot to offer in that almost everyone can find something that they'll like. If you're into art Prado museum is the place to visit. Shopping is a hobby of mine and there are many great stores like Zara, Mango and lots of shoe stores. Night life is great too. There are many clubs scattered all over the city however Puerta del Sol seems to appeal to tourists the most. I've also traveled to other countries like THe Netherlands, France, Germany, Switzeland and the U.K. and none of them can compare to Spain. Spain is energetic and exciting in a nutshell.

i visit spain all the time... my nan and grandad live out there and my parents are thinking of moving there once i have compleated my schooling in the UK... I think that spain can get borning if you constantly go ot there on holiday, but if you live out there i think it is compleately different. best place i have been is Teramitica a few years ago... last year maybe, cant remember :S im smart!! not!! Erm... i think there are better places to go other than spain personly, but thats just my opinion!

Yes, people were lot more friendly than France and cities were cleaner than Italy. I would definitely go back.
