Andalucia - Must go to Granada and see the Al-hambra, the famous moorish palace and architectural marvel, with stunning rose gardens.
La Mancha-- Must head to Toledo, the adopted home of El Greco, the artist. While there, make sure you have a piece of manchego cheese and a glass of tinto . . . then toast to "Holy Toledo" !
Madrid - Must go to Museo Prado and take a coffee in the lovely Plaza Mayor.
Extremadura - Must go to Merida to see the ruins of the great Roman Theater.
Castilla y Leon - Must go to Salamanca to see the University, the second oldest university *in the world.*
Pais Vasco - Must go to San Sebastian, which has great beaches and seafood tapas, meet some Euskadis, and get them to talk to you . . . cause you'll never hear their language spoken anywhere else on the planet! |

You have to go to barcelona,once you are there :SAGRADA FAMILIA,RAMBLAS STREET,PARC GUELL,PORT OLIMPIC,MAREMAGNUM,TIBIDABO,MONTJUIC,mus... picasso.For restaurants i will recomend to you MUSSOL they made local food and good price,is located in C/caspe(i forget the number),YOU HAVE TO GO TO NORTH:SAN SEBASTIAN,SANTANDER,OVIEDO.CENTRAL:MADRI... DEL SOL,THERE ARE A LOTS OF PLACES TO GO,HAVE FUN!!!!! |

go to the forums - choose spain - and you will see the different topics being discussed. You can post your questions then.. I always use this site when I travel - especially international travel. You can find out what taxi cab driver to ask for in Montego Bay; what dive company to use in Belize, etc... locals of any area are also known to post answers - not just travelers. and it is rare to have a travel agent/company, etc. post, mostly it is travelers who have been there - where-ever that is. |
