For wine production:
La Rioja region, with the city of Logroño, and River Duero area, with cities like Toro or Valladolid.
For cheese production:
Lugo, Zamora (made with sheep milk), Cabrales (in Asturias) (made with a mix of cow, sheep and goat milk), and Fuerteventura Island in the Canary Islands, they make the "Majorero Cheese" with goat milk.
PS: These are the most famous ones, but, actually, different kinds of chees and wine are made in all regions of Spain. |

Don't know where Chris is getting his information...there is no such thing as a specific city known for those things. There are vice problems everywhere, as there are in other countries.
Why not go to the Spanish Tourism site? Or Wikipedia? I can think of one city well known for its wine production, and two other provinces....but a specific CITY for cattle and cheese? Check the northern regions. |
