Help me choose hotel in majorca? |
I am looking for somewhere suitable for a young couple (aged 20 and 22), ideally no further than half an hour from the airport. We enjoy going to restaurants and bars but at the same time dont want to stay anywhere too noisy eg magaluf. we also want to go on a couple of excursions to waterparks etc. We don't want to spend anymore than £100 a night and want to go HB or AI. (Have already booked flights - just looking for hotel now). Cant be too far from beach either.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

I can recommend Don Bigote in Palma Nova. Its away from the noise but just 5 mins from the beach. Nice quiet hotel, clean and lovely buffet food. The prices are very reasonable, I booked through Thomsons.
Its also 5 mins away from the bus stop which can take you to 2 waterparks, pirates night, magaluf, palma city centre, santa ponsa (another resort) to name but a few.
Transfer from the airport was half an hour to resort, 20 minutes to airport from resort. If you get a taxi, its about 30e.

like LucyM we went to Ca'an Pastilla.We stayed in the Anfora hotel which is about 20 steps from the beach. The hotel is 3 miles from the airport. The food and rooms were fine.There is a restaurant just up the beach called BERNARD'S where they serve the biggest and best fish lunch/dinner in the world!We went on a couple of trips - the nicest was one to the north of the island which included a boat trip and a train back to Palma.We also went on another trip down some caves with beautiful stalagmites and stalactites. Try any of the recognised hotel sites like EasyJet/Alpha rooms etc. You'l have a ball!! |

Santa Ponsa - Hotel Pionera, A/inc. Santa Ponsa Beach Club, A/inc. Hisperia Hotel, HB, FB. My mother was in the Pionera and the entertainment was good, we were in the Hisperia and the hotel was fantastic and overlooks the beach. |

Try looking on alpha rooms for a hotel in majorca.It'll show you the rooms,pools and how far from the pubs and beach it is.It also gives you reviews off other people who have been to the hotel,so you'll know if it's for you or not.We always look on it before we book the hotel.Good luck. |

try Palma nova near enough to visit magaluff in the day and far enough away from the noise at night .we stayed in the ST LUCIA hotel right on the beach,a lot of bar all around and none to rough and ready.it has to be like that for us.A mixture of young and old at the hotel .excellent location, good bus service to Palma .lots of hotels in and around palma nova that would suit you

Hi,
My boyfriend and I just got back from can pastilla in majorca, about 10 mins from the airport. We stayed in the hotel marina Luz (take a look on tripadvisor) We had a fantastic time as I was slightly dubius about Majorca in the first place!!
