Leonés' answer is the best, I think, ( he must be an intelligent boy, being from León... xd ),

And.. cha-cha-cha a Spanish holiday? What was tht guy thinking about? Cha-cha-cha is a kind of popular dancing from Caribe ( Cuba / Puerto Rico ).

LEONÉS
1) 6th January
In Spain we celebrate "Three magic king´s day", related to the three men who were kings and gave presents to Jesuschrist when he was borned in Belem. Children in Spain receive presents and toys in the morning of 6th January. It is holiday´s day.

12th October
We celebrate when Cristóbal Colón discovered America in 1492. It is the "Hispanic pride day".

2) Paella (rice, seafood, vegetables...)
Jamón Serrano (pork ham)

3)Spain was an Empire since 1500 until 1800 aproximmately and it is said "the sun never sets" in this empire. This empire included territories from Europe (Netherlands, Italy, Portugal), America (Argentina, Peru, Colombia...)and Asia (Filipinas).
The last colonies (Cuba, Puerto Rico and Filipinas) were lost in 1898.

search "holidays in spain"

"foods in Spain"

Don't they teach you how to do research in school anymore?

And, just to comment on Dudy....there is no such thing as paela...and they don't even know what a fajita (which is how you spell it) IS in Spain...that would be a tex-mex food...it isn't even Mexican! Don't pay any attention to such trolls.
