Hen weekend in Majorca?
i had arranged a weekend in santa ponsa but was told it was very 18-30 and cheesey so i am trying to find somewhere in majorca with some decent bars/restaurants but that wont be full of stag & hen do's. we just want to chill out and have drinks & a boogie on the night. any ideas? thank you
It depends what time of year you are going, most holiday resorts will be dead out of season.
If I were you I would go to Palma. Fantastic !!

Palma has all you could want.

Alcudia has a good stretch of bars and restaurants, it is not a rowdy place, hence me going there for the last 3 years.

Definetly think Cala D'Or is the place for you. Its got a lovely marina with some excellent restaurants. Its more upmarket and sophisticated than places like Santa Ponsa, but its also got some nightlife if you care to find it. It certainly does not attract the hen/stag do's that other places on the island seem to attract. It has lots of lovely restaurants, bars and a couple of nightclubs. If you google it you should be able to find some images, and there is also a website called Caladorscene.

Alcudia is right at the top of the Island so it 's too far away.
Even Cala D'or is aroung 40 mins away.
I can't see the problem with Santa Ponsa I thinks it's better then a lot of resorts on the island.
See if this lot can help
