If you are going to Marbella and you want surfing, best thing to do is to rent a car and drive to Tarifa. It's only approx 90minute max from Marbella, it's on the Atlantic, and is well known for the strong wind1
It is a surfers paradise, and the beaches there are so much better than the beaches on the Costa del Sol.
Tarifa is also a charming town, great tapa bars, and possibly the best beaches in Andalusia. |

The Med. is maybe the worste sea to Surf in =) Come to North Spain/South West France...
If you want wind Surfing I've seen lot's of Tele recently around the Los Cabos area... is that how you'd write it in English ?? The The ?? xD
But next time if you want a Surfing holiday come to North Spain, I've been to Donostia many times... it's O.K, in Biarritz and Lourdes in France it is amazing !! I'm going to Bali on the 1st Febuary, I can't imagine the waves there !!
