Cuba is the ideal place in october there stil good time and sun shining a lot.

So i recomand you Havana 3 days and Varadero 4 night, but no more that 4 night inhavana the rest of the time in Varadero with all inclusive hotels and a beautiful beach.

Fuertaventura is my favourite of the canary islands, we stayed in Corralejo which was great, right near the sanddunes. Lots of local eateries etc and not the horrible commercialised ones. Plenty to do as well, lots of water sports and boat trips. It's still hot in September there, infact it is all year round. Remember to put a decent factor of suncream on because even though it can get a little breezy, you would still get burnt (like i foolishly did).

Why don't you just spend your weekends outside in the sun so that you gradually build up a healthy glow - rather than going and spending a week or two in the sun, sun, sun and getting crozzled. If you must have a holiday just go Australia way and see some kangeroos!
