Its ok , not the most beautiful place in the world,but a tourist town with discos and quite busy in the summer.it is close to Barcelona and it easy to catch the train to explore barcelona only about an hour away.If you hire a car there are also lots of cool places nearby to explore, like Montserrat, other beach resorts , the Spanish pyrenees, catalonia in general is a beautiful place with good people .Have a great time |

We stayed at the Pineda Palace at Easter 2006, the weather was great but resort very quiet. Water Park was closed nothing much to do in the evening except stroll along the front where there were a few bars. If you want night life don't go here. Its quite a walk into Salou but buses seem to run quite frequently in the evening, possibly have to get a taxi back
.
The theme park is definately worth a visit, a day ticket was enough at Easter time, |
